Mission Statement:
Our mission for A-1 Electronic Recycling is to reduce the environmental impact of electronic equipment use and keep computers and electronics out of landfills and our water streams and into the arms of needy schools and deserving children throughout the United States.
We make an effort on an ongoing basis to insure citizens and businesses are educated on the dangers of not handling sensitive data on hard drives properly due to the hazardous waste that leaks from various electronics. These fill our environment with toxins that are harming our food and water. We handle all sensitive data and proprietary information according to DoD standards, while refurbishing equipment in order to donate to schools and students in need, and sell at discounted prices. |

A-1 Electronic Recycling was founded in 2007 as a Colorado based electronics recycling company who specializes in computer and electronic removal, reuse, donation, and implementation for residents, private businesses, schools, non-profits and government facilities. Our program was created due to a current need and avenue to get refurbishable computer and electronic equipment in community schools and homes and out of landfills.We feel that there is a need for a company like ours to provide awareness of what is considered waste, and to promote an avenue where we can use recyclable items to help the environment and communities rather than hurting them. We welcome anybody who may not have the funds to pay large amounts to recycle items when there is in fact value in them in most cases. |
